The band thrives on performance, with a wide repertoire of music available. Please contact us if you have an event at which you would like us to play.
Join the Band
The band is currently looking for more Brass players, particularly Trumpets, Trombones, French Horns and Tubas. So, if you play brass and would like to join the band, then please complete the form opposite. The band meets at Marton Methodist Church each Tuesday evening at 7pm.
It is expected that band members regularly attend practice and participate in concerts when they happen.
We current don't have space for more woodwind players (including saxophone). However, we do have associated 'choirs' for Flute and for Clarinet. These choirs meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday's of the month, respectively, from 7pm to 8.30pm at Marton Methodist Church. If you play either of these instruments, are of 'medium' standard and would like to join either of these choirs, then please fill in the form opposite.
The band and choirs do accept 'young people' - but please see our Safeguarding Policy in regard to guardianship.
